Coaches in Mountain View
When reaching out to a coach, try to share more than just your age or level. The more specific you are about your goals and how you like to learn, the better the coach can determine if they’re the right fit for you.
Examples:
-
Your age and current level (beginner, JV, tournament player, etc.)
-
Your tennis goals (make varsity, compete in UTR tournaments, build confidence, etc.)
-
Your experience (years played, team experience, lessons before, etc.)
-
What you want to improve most (serve, footwork, match strategy, mental toughness, etc.)
-
How you prefer to learn (step-by-step breakdown, lots of ball drilling, patient instruction, high-intensity training, etc.)
-
Where and when you’re available to practice
-
Discuss the price range
-
Optional: Share some videos to get feedback
-
If you're receiving financial aid from BayAce, please let the coach know when you reach out!
Please do not use the phone numbers listed on this site for commercial or promotional purposes. They are shared only for personal, volunteer-driven outreach related to coaching and community support.
Our Mission
We know quality coaching isn't cheap, and we don't want cost to be the reason a player misses out. This directory is a community-built, volunteer-driven project — not a business. We're working to offer stipends, reduced-cost lessons, and free coaching for students and families who need it, so every player has a path to good instruction regardless of budget.
If price is a barrier, please reach out before counting yourself out, and we'll do what we can to help.
