My Story

I've been playing tennis for as long as I can remember, and I've spent almost as much time mentoring as competing; I captained my high school's JV team for 2 years to a league title, and I've coached younger players on the side.

Coaching taught me the flip side of the problem Lucas ran into as a player: matching isn't just hard to find, it's hard to get right. I've watched families get paired with coaches who were technically great but a bad fit and give up before finding someone who actually worked. 

​

So while Lucas built the platform, I built the technical piece that tries to fix that: the matching system behind BayAce, which pairs players with coaches based on skill level, coaching style, language, and goals, so families don't have to rely on word of mouth or trial and error to find someone who fits.

 When I'm not on a court, I'm usually coding or behind a camera. I shoot for my local paper.
